How was dinner on Friday?
Thanks for coming in on our opening night. If you have a minute, we’d love to hear how it went.
Tap a star to leave a review on Google
For new Melbourne restaurants, bars and pubs. I set up your website, Google profile and first reviews before opening night, at a fixed price from $1,500.
Free. A one-page check of what diners see when they search you now, plus a preview of your homepage, in your inbox within two days. Or call 0493 293 792

Most people look a new place up before they go. This is what they find.
No profile, no menu, no hours, no way to book. The closest match is a closed café two hours away.

The profile is up with the opening date, photos and menu, and the booking button works before the doors open.
Three things, each at a fixed price. You pay half to start and half when it’s live.
Your Google profile set up and showing your opening date before you open, review requests from your first night, and your booking link connected to the website your designer builds.

Everything in the Listing, plus a website made for your venue: menu, photos, and a booking button that works. Live and tested 14 days before you open, or you don’t pay the second half.
$3,900onceThe first three venues pay $2,900.
After you open: weekly Google posts and photos, a reply to every review, your menu and hours kept current, and a one-page report each month. No minimum term.
$449a monthHosting and small edits only: $149 a month.
For independent restaurants, wine bars and pubs in Melbourne opening in the next six months. Not for chains. Not sure which one fits? Text me and I’ll tell you, free.

Your Google profile goes up as early as 90 days before you open, with the opening date, menu and photos, so you show up when people search nearby.

Your website matches the fit-out, and every page leads to one booking button that I test before you open.

From the first night, every guest gets the same request for a review. Google and the ACCC don’t allow picking only happy guests or paying for reviews, so I don’t.
From your first email to opening night, in plain steps. You always know what happens next and what it costs.

After that, your choice
Google lets a new venue appear in search up to 90 days before it opens. Enter your date to see what needs to be live, and by when.
27% of Australians have decided not to book a restaurant because they couldn’t find enough information online. (OpenTable survey, 2025)
Google profile can go live
Name, opening date, menu, photos and booking link, shown in search and Maps.

That’s all I need from you. If you don’t have photos, I’ll come and take them.

Your 30-day report

The “new” period ends
After this, Growth Care keeps the profile, site and reviews up to date.
Google profile, a website made from your fit-out with a working booking path, a review system and a 30-day report. Half to start, half at handover. The first three venues pay $2,900 in return for a case study. If it isn’t live and tested 14 days before you open, you don’t pay the second half, and I keep working until it is.
Press play to watch one launch from start to finish, with a made-up wine bar. Before you pay anything, I send you the same thing for your venue: a one-page check of what diners see now, and a preview of your homepage.
I’m Max Dixon. I started Night One in Melbourne this year, at 16. My mum designs pub and restaurant fit-outs, so I’ve spent a lot of time in venues before they open.
I build every site and set up every Google profile myself. This summer I’m taking on three founding venues, so I can give each one proper time. You deal with me from the first email to opening night. On weekdays I reply after school; on weekends, any time. I’m not taking new venues during my VCE exams (27 October to 18 November). Founding spots open on 19 November.
Yes. Google lets a business with a confirmed address show an opening date up to 90 days ahead. Google decides how to verify you, and it can take days or weeks, so I start as soon as your address is set. If verification runs late, the profile goes live on opening day. Your website and bookings work either way.
No. I use your studio’s logo, fonts and photos for the website and Google profile, and credit the studio on the site.
Yes, the Opening Listing, for $1,500. I set up your Google profile with your opening date before you open, set up review requests from the first night, and connect your booking link to the site your studio builds.
I pause the work at no cost, the second payment moves to the new date, and your page can say “opening soon” until you know.
Every guest gets the same request, through a QR code on the table or receipt and a message after their booking. I don’t screen out unhappy guests or offer anything for a review. Google and the ACCC both require that, and a rating built that way is one people believe.
Growth Care is $449 a month with no minimum term. I post to your Google profile weekly, draft a reply to every review for you to approve, keep your menu and hours current, check your booking link, and send a one-page report each month. Care only is $149 a month and covers hosting and small edits.
You see the work before you pay anything: the free check and a preview of your homepage. Seven days before opening I send a video of test bookings made on three phones. In opening week I’m on call, every booking button has a backup, and my mum co-signs the agreement as the adult you can call. You pay half to start and half at handover, and if the site isn’t live 14 days before you open, you don’t pay the second half.
Send me a client who opens in the next few months and I’ll make them a free opening-night check using your renders and their branding. If they go ahead, your firm is credited on their site.
You do. The Google profile is in your name with me added as a manager, the domain is registered to you, and you keep everything if you leave.
Text me your venue and opening date and I’ll send your free opening-night check within two days. During my exams (27 October to 18 November) it arrives on the 19th.
